## Changelog

### 4.2.19 — 2026-10-01

Fix – Each prompt on the Create Form with AI screen now shows once instead of twice; the WooCommerce, Events Calendar and default registration prompts come from WP User Frontend, and Pro keeps its own prompt text for them

### 4.2.18 — 2026-09-21

Security – The user directory no longer shows a member's email address or phone number to logged-out visitors; the columns stay in place and signed-in visitors still see the details
Security – The user directory preview used by the block editor now requires an editor account, and it returns only the public profile fields instead of the full member record
Security – A member's full profile record, including their capabilities, is now only returned to the profile owner or a user who can manage users
Security – Applied the hardening from the 2026-07 security audit across the payment, invoice, private message, social login and form field screens: output is escaped, admin actions check permissions, and submitted values are cleaned before use
Fix – Post expiration is treated as switched off when the expiration time is empty or zero, instead of expiring posts a day after they are submitted
Fix – Expiry dates written by earlier versions that would unpublish a post immediately are now cleared automatically, so affected posts stay published
Fix – A site whose Pro files were uploaded without their dependencies now shows a clear admin notice instead of a fatal error
Enhance – Pro frontend scripts and styles now load only on pages that actually use a WP User Frontend form, so the rest of the site stays lighter

### 4.2.17 — 2026-08-25

Security – Block PHP object injection in submitted meta and private message reads (reported by WPScan)
Enhance – Lay out the Modules admin page in a responsive card grid with a modern layout
Enhance – Accept .jfif images when setting a user directory avatar from a URL
Fix – Do not apply post expiration to new posts when the form's Enable Post Expiration toggle is off
Compatibility – Tested with WordPress 7.1

### 4.2.16 — 2026-08-10

Update – Bump version to 4.2.16

### 4.2.15 — 2026-08-06

Enhance – Redesigned all registration form templates with a modern, consistent UI/UX
Enhance – Multistep registration progress bar colors now persist from the form settings
Enhance – Improved readability of form title, description, help text and labels on dark templates
Fix – Multistep next and previous button spacing no longer overlaps the field focus border
Fix – Improved registration form label color contrast on Template 4 for better accessibility
Fix – Elementor multistep step-style controls now target the redesigned step wizard markup
Fix – Harden field rendering against undefined array key notices (file upload, repeat, math captcha, embed)
