Installation

Installing BBQ Pro

1. Deactivate free version of the plugin
2. Upload the plugin and activate via the WP Plugins screen
3. Visit BBQ Pro > License to enter your license key

Done. BBQ Pro is now ready for use. By default BBQ Pro works just like the free version of BBQ, silently protecting your site with no configuration required. To customize the plugin, visit the BBQ settings and firewall patterns. For more information on getting started, check out the Quick Start Guide. How to use BBQ Pro

Note: these steps are optional. BBQ Pro protects your site right out of the box with no configuration required.

1. Visit the BBQ Pro settings to configure options as desired
2. Visit the BBQ Pro firewall patterns to customize your firewall rules
3. Visit the tools screen to reset settings, patterns, and statistics
4. Relax while BBQ Pro protects your site with a super strong firewall

New BBQ Patterns

When new firewall patterns are available, they can be enabled via "Reset Patterns" under the Tools menu.

Upgrades

Your purchase of BBQ Pro includes free upgrades according to the purchased license (Yearly or Lifetime). Plugin upgrades include new features, bug fixes, and other improvements. When an upgrade is available, WordPress will notify you in the Admin Area. When you see that there is an update available, just click "Update" and WordPress will perform the upgrade automatically. Alternately, you can download the latest version and upgrade manually. More info

Restore Default Options

To restore default plugin options, patterns, and statistics, visit the Tools screen in the plugin settings.

Uninstalling

This plugin cleans up after itself. All plugin settings and collected data will be removed from the WordPress database when the plugin is deleted via the WP Plugins screen.
