Foxiz Core

Companion plugin for the Foxiz theme. It carries the blocks, widgets and settings the theme renders with.

Foxiz Core is required by the Foxiz theme and does nothing without it. Keep both on the same version: the theme checks for it and will ask you to update if the plugin falls behind.

What it adds:

• 91 Elementor widgets for post listings, headers, footers and page sections
• Ruby Templates, a post type for header, footer and block layouts reused through the [Ruby_E_Template] shortcode
• Reader personalization: bookmarks, reading history, follows, reactions and voting

Installation

The Foxiz theme prompts you to install this plugin after activation, which is the easiest route.

To install it by hand:

1. Go to Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin.
2. Choose foxiz-core.zip and click Install Now.
3. Activate.

Both the theme and this plugin are updated through your ThemeForest download; upload the new versions when a release ships.

Faq

Can I use this plugin without the Foxiz theme?

No. Its widgets, blocks and settings all render through the theme, so on any other theme it stays inert and tells you so.

Do the theme and the plugin have to match versions?

Yes. They ship together and are tested together. The theme shows a notice when the plugin is older than it is.

Will deactivating it lose my content?

No. Posts, podcasts and Ruby Templates stay in the database. The blocks and widgets that render them stop working until you activate it again.

Licence

L’extension ne déclare aucune licence. Le code est redistribué sous la licence que l’éditeur a déclarée dans les en-têtes de l’extension.

Les illustrations, polices, médias et documents susceptibles d’être soumis à une licence distincte ne sont pas redistribués ; la page sur les licences explique ce qui est remplacé ou supprimé, et l’onglet Sécurité le détaille par version. Le droit au support et aux mises à jour vient avec la licence que vous achetez auprès de l’éditeur.
