Installation

1. Upload the woocommerce-pdf-watermark folder to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory, or install it through the WordPress Plugins screen.
2. Activate the plugin through the Plugins screen in WordPress.
3. Ensure WooCommerce is installed and activated.
4. Go to WooCommerce settings and configure your PDF watermark options.

Faq

Does this plugin work without WooCommerce?

No. WooCommerce must be installed and active.

Can I use image watermarks?

Yes. The plugin supports both text and image-based watermarks.

Can I personalize watermarks per customer?

Yes. You can include customer and order details such as name, email, order number, and order date.

Why might a PDF fail to watermark?

Some PDFs have embedded font or encoding issues that prevent proper processing. Re-export the source document as a standard PDF with embedded fonts and upload the new file.

Will this modify my original PDF files?

Watermarks are applied during download generation; source files remain unchanged.

Text and image watermarks now have independent position, opacity, size and offset settings. Existing text-only and image-only watermarks are unchanged: your current settings are copied to the new image controls automatically on update. Three groups will see their output change, all of them corrections: stores using the combined "Text and image" style get corrected placement, because that mode previously drew the image over the text and derived the text position from the image's pixel size; stores using "Custom" page selection will now get watermarks only on the pages they listed, where the list was previously ignored and every page was watermarked; and download counts may drop to their true value, because an iPhone or iPad download is no longer counted twice.
